WEBSITE : Concept, Development and Implementation
Historyofhomes.net is a pilot project, conceived, developed and implemented as a means to learn and explore integrated social media tools.
In the interest of cost and efficiency, Historyofhomes.net was not programmed from scratch, rather it was built using Boonex Dolphin community builder software. Graphics and modules were edited and adapted to reflect the content, based on the archiving and sharing of history of homes around the world.
A Wordpress blog and Twitter account have also been integrated into the portal. This is also the first Design House online project that integrates Google AdSense.
Being one's own client is an interesting challenge. This project has been hard word and highly rewarding – the realization of a dream. One that is going to be interesting to watch as it goes out into the world!
