PRINT : Display Design
Design House partnered with the Ottawa River Legacy Landmark Network to roll out a marketing campaign promoting the natural and cultural heritage of the historic Ottawa River.
This extensive two-year project included the development of custom maps, posters, postcards, pop-up displays and a website.
The cornerstone of this campaign was the design and construction of a series of interpretive kiosks at 11 communities along the Ottawa River, from Temiskaming in Ontario’s north, to the Quebec-border town of Alfred just east of Ottawa. Conceived by the Design House team, each custom-designed kiosk features an expansive interpretive map and matching set of community information panels, housed under a roofed canopy that frames a unique, scenic, real-time vista of the Ottawa River.
Funding for this project was provided by Renfrew County Community Futures Development Corporation.
