LOGO : Design

A long-established family business in the Ottawa Valley, Moncion Grocers turned to Design House when it was time to rename its stores and update its logo.

The solutions was for each of the three stores to combine the Moncion Grocers label with a unique site name. Then Design House developed a family of logos that clearly identify the three different Moncion Grocers markets: Pembroke, Riverside and Petawawa. In each, the Moncion name, comprising a contemporary serif font with traditional drop-shadow, arcs over the secondary label and an apple icon illustrated in woodcut style.

The Moncion Grocers logo has been applied extensively throughout the various retail outlets on signs and displays, uniforms, product and shelf labels, promotional items, the BBQ Express, website, print ads and TV commercials.
